Our Views of the Bible & Theological Education

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The Amazon Tri-Border Reformed Seminary was founded in 2005 in the tri-border region (Brazil–Peru–Colombia) with one burning purpose: to bring the pure, unmixed Word of God to indigenous river-village pastors and leaders who had never before received solid biblical training.

We stand unashamedly on the following convictions:

1. The Bible is the complete, sufficient, and infallible revelation of God

The 66 books of Scripture, in their original manuscripts, are verbally and plenarily inspired. There is no error of any kind—historical, scientific, or theological.

2. Salvation is by sovereign grace alone

Fallen man is totally unable to save himself. Salvation—from beginning to end—is by God’s unconditional election, Christ’s definite atonement, and the Holy Spirit’s irresistible regeneration (Sola Gratia, Sola Fide).

3. The Christian life must be holy and godly, in the spirit of the Puritans

Knowledge without transformation is worthless. We pursue personal holiness, family restoration, and church purity.

What We Teach

Systematic theology grounded in the historic Reformed confessions (Westminster Standards, Canons of Dort, 1689 London Baptist Confession)

Expository preaching that is faithful to the text

Puritan spirituality and deep devotional life

Biblical missiology focused on unreached tribes

Church history with emphasis on the Reformation, Puritan revivals, and missionary pioneers

After Graduation

Our graduates return to more than 70 indigenous villages scattered along 3,000 km of the Amazon River.

They paddle canoes for days, walk barefoot through the mud, and confront syncretism and animism with a single message:

“Christ alone, Scripture alone, grace alone!”

In 20 years, we have trained and sent out more than 60 indigenous pastors and evangelists who now preach boldly in their mother tongues and plant churches where the gospel in its purity had never before been heard.

Your prayers and support keep this torch burning in the heart of the jungle.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19)

That command still echoes today over the waters of the Amazon.

May the Lord of the harvest continue to raise up and sustain faithful workers in this vast and needy field!
