Theological Training & Leadership Development
The Amazon Tri-Border Seminary continues to train future church leaders:
19 students completed the first semester; 14 returned for the second semester
Students study theology while balancing daily labor work
Many face challenges learning in Portuguese, but are pressing forward to become equipped leaders
A regional leadership seminar gathered ~70 church leaders, strengthening unity and training across the region
The long-term vision (“Vision 2030”) is ambitious:
Train 150 church leaders
Build 100 churches
Send 10 missionaries
Mission Teams & Ministry Impact
Multiple international mission teams from Korea and the U.S. served in the region, carrying out:
Medical outreach
Children’s ministry
Construction and training programs
These partnerships significantly strengthened the ministry and encouraged local believers.
Infrastructure & Development Progress
A major milestone was completed:
An 800-meter road through the seminary property, enabling long-term development
Additional development projects include:
Agricultural initiatives (poultry, fish farming, livestock)
Purchase of a tractor for farming expansion
Upgraded river transportation (new boat motor) to reach remote villages
These efforts aim to support both sustainability and Gospel outreach.
Church Planting & Construction
Several church-building projects are in progress across remote villages:
A newly dedicated church in Peru
Ongoing construction in multiple Amazon villages despite financial and logistical challenges
Strong collaboration between local believers and global partner churches
Prayer Requests
Spiritual growth and perseverance of seminary students
Completion of construction projects and seminary facilities
Healing and health concerns within the missionary family
Continued unity and strength for growing church communities
