Until the Amazon Praises: Faith in a Season of Growth
Season & Context
As the extended dry season lowers river levels, daily life shifts in the Amazon—but it also creates opportunities for provision, with increased food supply from fishing and improved access for ministry work.
Seminary & Leadership Development
The seminary continues to raise new leaders:
The second semester concluded alongside a regional leadership seminar with pastors, workers, and students from three countries
Around 50 participants studied Scripture together, strengthening unity across the region
Several graduates were ordained as pastors, marking important milestones in leadership multiplication
These efforts reflect steady progress toward equipping indigenous church leaders.
Church Planting & Ministry Expansion
Church growth remains active across multiple villages:
New church buildings are being constructed and dedicated in remote communities
A chapel is being built on the seminary campus
Local believers, including students, are leading and participating in these efforts
In addition, a clean water initiative is expanding, bringing practical support alongside spiritual ministry.
Sustainable Development & Farm Ministry
The agricultural ministry continues to support both outreach and sustainability:
Daily egg production, livestock growth, and fish farming provide food and income
Crops such as cassava and bananas are being cultivated for future use
Students actively participate in farming, gaining both practical skills and supporting the mission
These efforts help strengthen the long-term sustainability of the ministry and local communities.
Ongoing Vision
The mission continues to pursue its long-term vision of training leaders, planting churches, and achieving sustainability, while asking prayer for:
Continued student growth and training resources
Church construction projects
Expanded infrastructure such as internet and learning facilities
Long-term leadership succession
