Rising Rivers, Growing Mission: New Life in the Amazon
Season & Ministry Context
As river levels rise again, life in the Amazon shifts with renewed activity in the jungle. The ministry continues to adapt to seasonal rhythms while pressing forward in its mission to spread the Gospel and strengthen communities.
Seminary & Leadership Development
The seminary continues to play a central role in developing leaders:
A recent pastoral training seminar brought together around 100 participants from Brazil, Peru, and Colombia
Several students completed their theological training and graduated, while a new group of students began their studies
Ongoing support, including online courses and financial assistance, is helping indigenous leaders continue their education despite challenges
Church Planting & Expansion
Church construction is progressing across multiple remote villages:
Several new churches are being built through partnerships with supporting churches
Seasonal improvements have allowed materials to be transported and construction to resume
Local believers are actively participating in building and strengthening their communities
Community Support & Development
The ministry is expanding holistic support efforts:
Clean water systems (“living water” filtration) are being installed across multiple villages
Student scholarships are helping leaders from underserved communities study at the seminary
Sustainable Farm Ministry
Agricultural projects continue to strengthen long-term sustainability:
Livestock, crops, and aquaculture are providing both food and income
Farming operations are supporting the seminary and offering hands-on training for students
Ongoing Vision
We will continue to pursue our long-term “Vision 2030,” while asking for prayer in:
Training and equipping future leaders
Completing church construction projects
Expanding sustainable income sources
Establishing long-term leadership succession
